Lapis River - junk drawer necklace featuring loads of lampwork and sugilite

Loads of excellent lampwork in super cool minty green, bright aqua, intense opaque lapis cobalt and an interesting intense streaky blue leaning purple that has a tendency to be a bit finicky in the flame. I also included sugilite, amethyst, lapis, various glass seed beads and dyed mother of pearl drops. The sugilite beads are the coolest, they are oddly shaped and freehand faceted. They were given to me by a lady named Jan who bought my beads frequently and we began communicating very regularly through email. She lived in Texas and we never met in person, but she sent me beads from her collection a couple of times and was very generous, and these were included in one of the packages. I held onto them for a very long time and I decided, finally, this was the perfect place to put them. They match the purple glass almost perfectly. This piece has such a lovely drape and too many decorative elements to list out, you'll just have to look at the photos and see for yourself. All functional components are sterling silver and this piece is signed with a handmade sterling tag near the clasp. The clasp, by the way, is decently sized and so is the jump ring to reduce fumbling when trying to fasten it.

Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives. Use a soft cloth rather than paper products for cleaning and polishing plastics. If soap must be used, a very mild dish soap is recommended.
