Graffiti - 7 sprightly beads

$135.00 / Sold Out

just over 5 inches of beads
bead size (approximately):
15x18mm - 23x24mm
3/32" hole

Not high street art, but a cut above gang tags for sure. A blue spiral and a green squiggle here, a psst of purple spray paint (enamel) there, a few dots everywhere, all on the surface of a clear hollow bead with an intense red core - each one is the same but different. They graduate in size middle to ends, quite suitable for a classic neckpiece. I'm as surprised as you are that I haven't really made anything like these before. I'll be honest, I think I made the first two to just fill up the annealer so I wouldn't feel like I was wasting relay clicks or element energy on an un-full house. When I checked them the following day I decided it was worth making more, and here they are! These would look fantastic with the right shade of coral, and I've seen some perfectly opaque purple sugilite recently that would match the psst of purple enamel almost exactly. Do what you want! Within reason, of course....

About the beads:
These lampwork beads are made by Sarah Moran with soda-lime glass (also known as soft glass), and are kiln annealed for strength and long life. I do my best to provide an accurate representation in the photos. If you are interested in buying but have questions, please contact me.
