I came up with the Chinese New Year colorway probably 15 years ago, but I don't recall exactly what inspired it, except a very fuzzy memory of brilliant vermillion, amber and smoky purples inspiring a necklace with those colors. I spent quite some time looking in my old folders for saved photos, but found nothing. Lets just say it's inspiration that inspired something to become the original inspiration for this group of colors: warmer and cooler purple, brilliant bright red and deep dark red and a touch of deep caramel brown in the usual Goofball designs made up of all kinds of Dots & Lines. Each bead is different from the next, and etched to velvety (and fingerprint proof) perfection! I'll let the photos tell you the rest.
About the beads:
These lampwork beads are made by Sarah Moran with soda-lime glass (also known as soft glass), and are kiln annealed for strength and long life. I do my best to provide an accurate representation in the photos. If you are interested in buying but have questions, please contact me.
